Polisi Sweeping Arena yang Diduga Menjadi Tempat Judi Lomba Lari

Sejumlah anggota kepolisian dari Polres Banjarbaru melakukan sweeping ke lokasi yang digua menjadi tempat judi lomba lari di belakang SPBU Cempaka, Senin (3/4/2023) dinihari.

Korankalimantan.com – Puluhan anggota Polres Banjarbaru mendatangi lokasi yang dijadikan aksi lomba lari.

Di lokasi, pihaknya hanya menemui beberapa remaja serta beberapa pedagang keliling yang mangkal di lokasi tersebut. Tidak ditemui, gerombolan remaja yang hendak melakukan aksi balap lari.

Perwira Pengawas Polres Banjarbaru Ipda Agus mengatakan, kedatangan pihaknya ke lokasi lomba lari untuk melakukan pencegahan.

“Pemantauan di lokasi, ada beberapa remaja yang mengenakan celana pendek yang diduga akan melakukan balap lari (lomba). Dengan adanya kita, tidak akan terjadi balap liar,” katanya.

Menurutnya, untuk kegiatan balap lari secara umum tidak apa. Tetapi, jika balap lari dilakukan di jalan umum dapat mengganggu masyarakat yang ingin melintas.

“Ini jalan raya umum, kalau jalannya ditutup penonton ya dapat mengganggu. Bahkan disinyalir menggunakan uang kalau balap liar,” sebutnya.

Ke depan pihaknya akan melakukan patroli kembali jika terjadi lagi aksi balap lari.

Diungkapkannya juga, pihaknya akan mendalami bandar atau yang memegang uang setiap balap lari dimulai.

“Akan kita dalami dan baru dilaporkan ke pimpinan untuk ditindaklanjuti. Dan ini menjadi salah satu prioritas kita,” tutupnya.(maf/may)
