Pemerintah Kabupaten Hulu Sungai Tengah melarang para Pedagang Kaki Lima (PKL) untuk berjualan di kawasan Bazar Pariwisata dan Ekonomi Kreatif mulai 20 hingga 25 Februari 2023. Larangan itu menuai protes dari anggota DPRD Kabupaten HST dari Partai Gerindra.

Korankalimantan.com – Larangan itu disampaikan melalui pemberitahuan dengan lembaran banner yang ditempel di pohon di sekitar lokasi kegiatan.

Anggota DPRD Kabupaten HST dari Partai Gerindra, Salpia Riduan mengaku sangat miris melihat banner yang berisi larangan itu.

“Pikirkan dan tampunglah mereka, jangan dilarang berjualan hanya karena mereka tidak mampu menebus stand. Muliakan pedagang kaki lima, mereka pejuang rupiah untuk keluarganya,” ujar Salpia.

Salpia pun bertanya, Bazar ini untuk siapa? Apakah diperuntukan untuk orang-orang besar, sedangkan orang kecil hanya bisa gigit jari.

“Bazaar untuk siapa? Mestinya pedagang kecil dan miskin warga Hulu Sungai Tengah yang kita fasilitasi. Sedih dan kasihan melihat penggalan tulisan yang tertempel di pohon kenari ini,” tutup Salpia.

Hal senada juga disampaikan Pedagang Kaki Lima, Edwan yang berjualan mainan anak-anak.

Dia mengaku sangat kecewa dengan tulisan tersebut, walaupun dirinya tidak sendiri dan tidak ikut berjualan. Tapi dia sangat terpukul dengan adanya banner yang bertuliskan semacam itu, dia membayangkan bagaimana nasib kawan-kawan seprofesi yang mau mengais rejeki di sana.

“Nasib rakyat jelata Pedagang Kaki Lima, PKL juga rakyat Bumi Murakata. Semoga ada penjelasan dan kebijakan yang mengakomodir semua, spanduk mungkin tak bisa berbicara tetapi kadang bisa menjelaskan maksud dan tujuan pembuatnya. Semoga ada penjelasan,” harap Edwan.(mdr/may)
