Musyawarah Nasional (Munas) II Lembaga Kesejahteraan Sosial Anak (LKSA) dan Panti Sosial Asuhan Anak (PSAA) digelar di Banjarmasin, 7 – 9 Oktober 2022. Sebanyak 600 peserta terdiri dari pengelola panti asuhan seluruh Indonesia Indonesia akan berhadir dalam munas tersebut.
Korankalimantan.com – Pendiri Istana Anak Yatim Kalimantan Selatan, HM Zairullah Azhar mengatakan dalam Munas tersebut akan membahas berbagai agenda guna memperbaiki nasib anak yatim di seluruh Indonesia. Diantara agendanya yaitu membenahi organisasi seperti target, tujuan, visi misi, ADRT, dan lainnya.
Kemudian, membahas program kerja yang diharapkan agar secara menyeluruh pengelola panti asuhan punya konsep yang sama tentang pembinaan dan pengelolaan anak yatim.
“Harapannya pengelolaan anak yatim kedepannya menjadi program pemerintah, karena masih ada didaerah yang kurang memperhatikan nasib anak yatim,” ujar Zairullah, Kamis (6/10/2022) di Banjarmasin.
Menurut Zairullah, dalam Munas nanti salah satu yang harus diputuskan adalah pendidikan anak yatim, karena rata-rata pengelola hanya mampu menyekolahkan mereka hanya sampai jenjang Sekolah Menengah Atas (SMA) saja.
“Setidaknya anak yatim ini harus mengenyam pendidikan sampai Sarjana karena inilah yang nantinya akan menentukan nasib mereka agar bisa mandiri dan bermanfaat buat keluarga, agama, bangsa, dan negara,” sebut Zairullah yang juga Bupati Tanah Bumbu, Kalimantan Selatan.
