Arena Latihan Skateboard Dibongkar, Pengguna Kecewa

Arena latihan untuk skateboar, yaitu skatepark yang berada di samping Gedung Sarabakawa, Tanjung belum lama tadi telah dibongkar. Kejadian itu menimbulkan kekecewaan bagi para pengguna.

Korankalimantan.com – Skatepark sudah ada sejak tahun 2014, namun sekarang sudah dibongkar.

Kabar dibongkarnya skatepark itu baru diketahui sejumlah pecinta olahraga skatebord di Tabalong pada, Selasa (14/03/2023).

Ketua Komunitas Indonesia Skateboard (KIS) Tabalong, Ahmad Jani menyayangkan pembongkaran ini tidak diberitahukan kepada mereka.

“Kemarin hanya dapat info saja mau dibongkar, tapi tidak ada koordinasi atau rapat bersama untuk pembicaraan pembongkaran maupun tanggal pembongkaran,” ujarnya, Selasa (14/03/2023) sore.

Jani menuturkan, dibongkarnya skatepark itu membuat para pecinta olaraga skateboar di Tabalong kecewa.

“Teman-teman bingung nanti mau bermain dan latihan di mana?” tuturnya.

Meski begitu, ia mengaku tak bisa berbuat apa-apa dan ingin Pemda bisa membangun kembali Skatepark. Sebab mereka tak ingin jika harus kembali bermain skateboar di jalanan karena akan merusak fasilitas umum.

“Pastinya kita ingin dibangunkan kembali Skatepark yang standar nasional, karena kalau tidak ada para atlet dan pecinta skateboard tidak bisa bermain,” bebernya.

Meski kini skatepark sudah dibongkar, Jani tetap memberikan motivasi kepada para pencinta skateboarder untuk tetap berlatih meski Skatepark sudah tidak ada.

“Semangat terus mainnya teman-teman, walaupun Skatepark tempat kita sudah di ratakan. Tetap kita bermain Skateboard,” ucapnya.

Sementara itu, salah satu Skateboarder, Andri menyampaikan, olah raga Skateboard di Tabalong tidak bisa dihilangkan.

Sebab olahraga ekstrem ini sudah menjadi favorit anak muda di Tabalong yang jumlah anggotanya mencapai 50 orang lebih.

Ia menilai, jika pemerintah setempat ingin menjadikan Tabalong sebagai kota pariwisata tentunya olahraga Skateboard dapat daya tarik sendiri bagi para turis asing atau pun mancanegara karena Skateboard banyak disukai turis asing.

Ia pun berharap kepada Komite Olahraga Rekreasi Masyarakat Indonesia (Kormi) Tabalong sebagai penanggung jawab olahraga skateboard bisa memfasilitasi atau menjembatani dengan pemerintah setempat untuk mencarikan solusinya.

“Kami harap Kormi bisa memfasilitasi anggota skateboard untuk menyampaikan suara kepada pihak pemerintah terkait diratakannya fasilitas olahraga skateboard atau yang biasa dikenal Banyan Skatepark dan mencarikan solusinya,” harap Andri.

Terpisah, Ketua Kormi Tabalong, Ahmad Jubairi saat dikonfirmasi menanggapi hal ini.

Ia mengaku tak bisa berbuat apa-apa lantaran hal ini sudah menjadi kewenangan pemerintah setempat.

“Ya kita tidak bisa berbuat apa-apa karena itu kewenangan pemerintah, mudahan ada gantinya nanti,” katanya.

Saat ditanyakan apa alasan dibongkarnya Skatepark tersebut, ia mengaku tidak tahu apa alasannya.

“Saya tidak tahu alasannya apa,” ucapnya.

Ia menyampaikan terkait dipindah atau dibangunkan kembali Skatepark baru ia juga belum dapat memastikannya.
